Royal Copenhagen inspired embroidery



It's been several months that I've been longing to stitch these Royal Copenhagen inspired motifs, and finally, they're complete!


From the very start, when thinking about themes for the Blue Journal, elegant blue and white china patterns came to my mind, It was absolutely a MUST to have it expressed and stitched in some way, shape, or form.


When searching for inspiration on Pinterest, I stumbled upon Royal Copenhagen tableware which was actually a new name for me! As I researched further, it turned out that it was in fact, influenced by China craftsmanship several centuries ago, and the blue floral motifs were largely based on Chrysanthemum which was also a popular theme in Chinese porcelain at that time.
