Hi there!
A little heads-up. On
Saturday I resume sending Newsletters and the first one in
2020 will have this little freebie attached to it so don't miss it.
It is a little bouquet of
ranunculus and lavender, adorned with a circle frame on the
background. Ranunculus is actually worked a little differently than a
usual woven wheel rose which makes it more dimensional * wink
wink *.
The pattern is very
beginner-friendly, and all of the stitches I used were already
explained here on this blog. I tried to think of something that will
suit all levels of embroidery enthusiasts. Hopefully, you will find it
enjoyable to work :)
Ah, by the way! You will
get not only a PDF but also a video! I recorded me working this
design so that you have a very clear understanding and vision of the
process.
That's the first time for
me to try this format so I'm a little nervous how it goes. But I hope
you like it, and if you do, maybe I can prepare stuff like that for
you form time to time. I think it would be fun.
Please look forward to it
:)
It is awesome Amina ❤ and sounds lovely!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy it! ❤
DeleteYour video is great! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThank you for enjoying it!
DeleteI've just downloaded your DIY and watch the video 2 times... so great, such quality... thank you so much for sharing your beautiful embroidery and tips of your awesome work Amina.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love ❤ It will be a lovely gift, waiting for spring to start it :)
(ps. could you tell me what size is your hoop please? and I'm stunned, did you embroid it in only 20' ?)
Thank you, Meli! ❤
DeleteMy hoop is 13.5 cm but I think nowadays 15cm size is more common.
No no, oh gosh, I didn't do it in 20 minutes :o
Unfortunately, I still haven't figured out a *comfortable* way to film my WIP. The only way I have now involves slouching really hard and that makes it impossible for me to stitch for a long time. So, it actually took me 3 sittings, once a day :D
But all in all, if you remove all the filming circumstances, I guess it would take ~2-2.5 hours (you probably didn't notice, but there were many cuts) :)
Please do this to me, but pink peonies :)
ReplyDeleteHi! I'm sorry, all subscribers received the same pattern :)
DeleteHello Amina,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this beautiful gift! It is like sunshine in a grey winter day!
Even if I'm not new to embroidery, I don't have a lot of self confidence. So, the video helps a lot.
Have a nice week
Ghislaine in France
Hi, Ghislaine!
DeleteThank you so much for writing, your words made my heart warm. I didn't realize you guys would enjoy the freebie so much. I will try to prepare them more often in shaa llah! Thank you again, hope you gain more confidence in your work, I'm sure you're doing great :)
Hi Amina!
ReplyDeleteI just subscribed to your amazing blog but seem to have missed this wonderful “freebie” I would love to have it if at all possible!
- Chris
Hi, Chris! I sent you a copy :)
DeleteMERCI beaucoup Amina !! Videos are particularly helpful in applying your tips and tricks. After the nice gift, a precious help, THANK YOU again for sharing your knowledge !! Chantal
ReplyDeleteThank you, Chantal! I'm so happy you enjoyed :)
DeleteHi Amina!
ReplyDeleteI subscribed to your blog a couple of weeks ago and I love all the information on here! It's super helpful and very detailed while keeping it non-intimidating which is quite a hard thing to achieve.
I've seem to missed this one freebie though; I checked my inbox and my spam folder but I can't seem to find it. Is there any other way to still receive this? Many thanks in advance!
Janneke
Hi, Janneke!
DeleteThe freebie was sent on Saturday 18th so you might have missed that. If you tell me the date when you signed up and your first name (that you used when signing up) I can find you in the list and send you a copy of the last newsletter.
Sorry for the inconvinience, I'm still brainstorming ideas to arrange a permament resource library for subscribers T_T
That's totally fine! I'm glad you're willing to re-send! I believe I subscribed at the 27th of November, 2019. I used "Janneke" when I signed up.
DeleteHope this helps!
Janneke, there seems to be some problem because I can't find you in the list, not on 27th of November, nor on any other day... I used search and went through the whole list manually. If it is not too much trouble, drop me a line on aminakdesigns@hotmail.com. I will send you the freebie and we will figure out there what can be wrong :) Sorry!
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteI signed up to your newsletter on 27th Jan, so missed the one with this pattern in. Is it possible to get a copy? I understand if not.
Hi, Wendy! Please look forward to the newsletter today. I mention there a new resource library, where you will be able to download previous freebies :)
DeleteI got that yesterday thank you! Unfortunately when I try to access it I get an error message that I haven't been invited 😔
DeleteWendy, I think I fixed it now, try again! 👍
ReplyDeleteHiya!
