Can you tell I've been
into stumpwork lately?
You might think it all
started with Hydrangea, but my interest in stumpwork is pretty old.
It has always been one of my most favorite fields in hand embroidery
and I do have aspirations to get better in it :)
But for now, little steps,
shall we?
So, here is a heads-up for
you!
I'm working on a short
video course to teach you how to make a brooch like that:
Frankly speaking, I love
this brooch a little too much. Like, I had an image in my head when I
planned it but the way it turned out is just so cute and precious :D
WHY this brooch:
First of all, spring and
flowers blooming, especially wild roses, ah... It just suits the mood
so much!
Secondly, I think it is an
amazing present! Frankly speaking, right now I'm literally torn
between keeping this brooch for myself or gifting it to aunty or
friends... I feel like I will need to make a couple more of them :D
In the course you will:
- Learn about necessary materials and instruments;
- Learn the stitches for this project;
- Get a tutorial split into several parts to make it easier for you
All in video format for
better understanding.
Making this brooch is
easier than you might think!
It is beginner-friendly, as long as you
have some experience in embroidery it shouldn't be too difficult. I
also will give you some options on how to simplify the project even
more if you find yourself struggling.
I hope you're as excited
as I am!
Stay tuned! :)
