The world is in chaos and Amina is talking about flowers... well, if beauty and positivity can't save the world, at least it can make our days brighter :)

Frankly speaking, I had a good training for social isolation during this period as I literally caved in to complete the preparation for the course.

On a serious note, guys, be careful! Wash your hands properly, sneeze in your elbows, and if you're on quarantine do some exercises at home to keep your body fit.

What to expect from the course

The course will be VERY helpful to anyone who's interested in stumpwork (raised embroidery). You will learn:

• Which fabric gives more advantage in stumpwork;
• The simple secrets of double-sided look;
• My personal tip on how to cut a shape out of fabric without grabbing thread.

And that's among some other tips and tricks that are scattered all throughout the course. If you go through the lessons, it will give you a great fundament for future stumpwork projects and activities.

If you're not interested in stumpwork ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶W̶I̶L̶L̶ ̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶i̶n̶t̶e̶r̶e̶s̶t̶e̶d̶... joking! You will learn:

• How to make a pretty brooch (there are ways to simplify the project, I mentioned them in the foreword);
• Another way of using buttonhole stitching for your projects;
• A way to fluff up Turkey stitch;
• You will get extra practice in long and short stitch;
• You will have templates that you can use for your other brooches – just change the colors and voila!

All in all, I think it's just a great project, honestly. Not only you're getting something you can wear, that will bring a proud smile to your face, but also will level up your skills significantly in shaa Allah.

The whole course is suited for beginner-to-intermediate level. If you have practiced long and short stitching for some time, then you should be fine. However, like I mentioned, there are ways to make it easier for you, so don't despair and think it's too difficult:)

The new course consists of 4 parts in total. Each part has a video lesson with text.

I do have an accent so I think having a text there will be more convenient for many, and also as some of the students may not be fluent in English, the texts should be helpful.

You will also get a PDF document with the patterns, thread chart, and instructions. Instructions don't have pictures with them, unfortunately, so be aware, please.
